How to clean carpets with vinegar

It sometimes seems like everything about carpets is extremely expensive. From buying and installing them to their everyday maintenance. As you probably noticed, regular vacuum cleaning just isn’t enough. New stubborn stains show up on your carpets every day, and you are unable to stop them or defeat them. If you try to tackle stains without professional help, you’ll find out that carpet cleaning detergents and soaps are also extremely pricey. But does everything about carpet cleaning really has to be that expensive? Fortunately, the answer is no. There is a magical cleaning solution, you can make in your home, that can save you a lot of money. The key ingredient to that solution is regular white vinegar. Vinegar is comprised of acetic and water. Acetic asid’s  Ph is approximately 2,4, which makes vinegar the ideal product for killing germs, removing stains and removing uncomfortable odor, carpets can sometimes have. It is also a perfect organic alternative for many carpet cleaning product. There are a couple of methods to use vinegar in cleaning, and we  have decided to show you all of them.
  1. Scrub carpets with vinegar
Before you do anything else, make sure to vacuum your carpet first. Remove all loose debris and dirt. Mix warm water, mild soap and three to four cups of vinegar in a bucket and use a cloth or a sponge to scrub the carpet with the solution.  After that, gently wipe the carpet with a clean, wet piece of cloth.
  1. Remove stains with vinegar and baking soda
Put a pile of baking soda on the stain.  Pour some vinegar directly on the pile and wait for the eruption to happen. You should have a volcano spectacle happening on your carpet. Let the stain absorb the solution for 10 minutes. After that just wipe the stain with a piece of cloth and  vacuum it up.
